Join Linda and guest teachers for a full day each month learning about identifying, growing, processing and using plants! Hands-on activities such as plant and plant family ID, propagation, harvesting, seed saving, and medicine making as well as some book learning about human physiology and herbal constituents help to provide a framework for future study that you will not find in online herbal programs.
Daily class structure will include:
1. An herb walk
2. A botany lesson on a plant family
3. Body system physiology discussion
4. Growing, Harvesting, and Processing
5. Medicine Making
Classes will be offered in two sessions: Thursdays and Saturdays. Classes run from 10 am to 5 pm each day.
Tuition: $730 plus materials fee of $10 per class ($70 for season).
Materials fee includes all alcohol, oils, vinegar, honey, hydrosols, essential oils, jars and bottles used in class each month. Herbs are included with the cost of tuition.
Our 2020 session details will be finalized in January including the specific course outline, dates & guest teachers. Please pre-register now or join our mailing list to be notified of all upcoming classes!
